Five Hours and Forty-Five Minutes Until Launch!

And thus begins A Year In the Life Of... me!

After many failed (read: aborted) attempts at blogging last year, I've decided to use the convenient new year starting on Sunday to get some goals in place. And since I'm going to do WEEKLY goals, I'll feel less bad about maybe not getting to this every day.

Here are my projects for this year:

  1. Read the Bible, or at least most of it.

  2. There's a wonderful website out there called 52projects.com, which sounds great... 52 projects, 52 weeks in a year, right? I'll decide not to overexert myself and call it "26 projects"... one every two weeks or so.

  3. Stretching every morning.

  4. Cardio 4 days a week.

  5. Pushups 3-4 days a week (from the "Navy Seal" workout I used to do in France).

  6. The ever-present eat healthier.

  7. Learn how to code in HTML better, to enhance the overall quality of my blog.

I've also got some other things going on, such as teaching Sunday school, which will obviously take up a good portion of my time, since I'm actually planning on preparing lessons well this year, instead of winging it. It helps that church begins at 11:00 this year, so I can take the extra two hours in the morning and prepare a lesson.

In the meantime, I hope everybody who stumbles upon this blog has a happy new year, and achieves the goals that they have set for themselves in 2006.
